The Black Friday sales are ahead. This year, Black Friday falls on Friday 29 November. So once again you’ll be able to get yourself some mega deals and discounts from a whole load of popular retailers. Walmart is one of those retailers, which has already started its early holiday season deals and discounts.
The retail giant Walmart always goes big on Black Friday deals and we don’t expect Black Friday 2019 to be any different. Read on for our speculations for this year’s Walmart Black Friday sale. We need to know where to shop on Black Friday as it requires some master planning and understanding of the benefits of certain retailers. Over the past two years, Walmart has made some exclusive changes to the way the company handles its online storefront and the outcome has made it far more reasonable. From better shipping speeds to a wider variety of products, you’d be amazed not to keep an eye on what Walmart is doing for Black Friday deals 2019.
When will Walmart’s Black Friday Sale Begin?
Black Friday is officially on November 29th, 2019, but that likely isn’t when actual sales will begin. In 2018, Walmart kicked off its sales on November 21, which was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and ran its Black Friday sales right through the end of Monday. As early as November 8 Walmart was touting “Black Friday sales” but these were just select items that were discounted, with the larger selection dropping on Wednesday.
On Thanksgiving Day in 2018, Walmart had a (Light Up Black Friday Party) where it offered free coffee and cookies alongside a few ‘Special Buy’ items to its customers that were only available in stores on Thanksgiving Day
If Walmart again follows a similar pattern this year then expect the Walmart Black Friday Deals to start online on Wednesday 27th November and for the sale to start in stores on Thanksgiving evening. We’d also expect some early deals again at the start of November.
Expected Walmart’s Black Friday Deals 2019
Walmart claims its best Black Friday deals by way of national press ads which regularly get scanned and posted online so that customers will be able to plan for what they want to buy. The sale tends to feature a unique selection of electronic items like 4K TVs, Consoles, Games, Google Home smart speakers, Home Stereo, laptops, Phones and much more.
Note! Not every item in the Walmart Black Friday ad is available online so you might have to visit in store for the item you want.
Televisions
Walmart tends to offer a wide variety of deals on TVs, from insanely affordable door-buster type options to some of the higher-end models from Samsung, TCL, VIZIO and many more. There will be fantastic deals for nearly everyone, irrespective of whether you’re looking for something small to put in a guest room or a 65-inch 4K Smart TV for the living room. Some TV models will be 1080p, others will offer 4K resolution with refresh rates and panel quality will vary. Some may even have smart streaming abilities built-in.
Home Tech Devices
For the Walmart Black Friday 2019 deals, we’re also expecting to see a range of discounts on Google Home devices such as the Google Home, the Google Home Mini, the Google Chromecast Ultra and as well as Google Nest Hub. We might even see a range of discounts on the new 10″ HD touchscreen Google Nest Hub Max.
The question comes to our mind ‘Why are we expecting so many Google products at Walmart for Black Friday 2019?’ Well, their Competitor Amazon, does not sell Google Home products and Walmart is likely to be a dynamic retailer where you will catch these amazing Home Tech Devices deals. In the past few years, we’ve generally seen up to 50% off on these different devices, and this year we expect the same. Something like Google Home Mini could drop down to as low as just $20, the Chromecast may be at the same price tag and the Nest Hello Video Doorbell down to around $150.
Gaming Consoles
Gaming consoles will be upfront and centre during Black Friday 2019. From the Nintendo Switch to Xbox’s latest digital console and the PlayStation 4 Pro, this year will be a big one for gamers in the market to switch platforms or replace a console piece that has been damaged. From controllers to Xbox Live, PlayStation Plus and much more, Walmart will deliver each and everything so you don’t have to look here and there.
Cell Phones and Gears
Walmart sells a range of Apple’s latest cell phones and gear as well, like the second-generation AirPods, the Apple Watch Series 5 (along with the older Series), a few iPad models, and even the iPhone 11 Pro for certain carriers. Apple isn’t inclined to offer big discounts during Black Friday, so retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Sears and others are the best way to secure the devices for fewer amounts.
Laptops
Walmart is one of the major retailers in the world and that means it’s also one of the best places to pick up a fantastic laptop deal. This is because it has a wide range of laptops to offer, so no matter what kind of laptop you’re looking for, be it a normal laptop, a gaming laptop or a light Chromebook, there should be an excellent Walmart laptop deal for you. You can be pretty confident that Walmart will stock the best laptops that you can easily get this Black Friday 2019.
Toys
From art materials to sets of swings and electronics, Walmart’s toy department is the perfect leisure fun for children of all ages. Whether you’re trying to raise your spirits to active play, imagination, education or just simple fun, you’ll find the equipment and essentials you need to make it happen in Walmart’s toys section.
Walmart’s Free Shipping Policy
Just like Amazon, Walmart offers free shipping on a lot of products. Right now, the company has a $35 minimum to qualify for shipping. During the holidays, many retailers remove shipping requests and offer free shipping on all orders. Walmart’s standard is 2-day shipping; it’s still quick and costs you nothing additional.
Walmart’s Holiday Return Policy
Walmart starts a prolonged return policy on all purchases made at the end of October through the end of December. Buying in this period can be returned through the end of January. The extension makes it easier to buy things that are on the fence about or unsure whether they make a great gift or not.
Whether the item was purchased online or in-store, returns are quite easy at Walmart. You can take it back to any store as you don’t need to go back to the same one that you have purchased from.
